We would like to introduce a case study of the water supply and drainage application CAD system "ANDES Mizu Takumi for Applications," which can be created multi-functionally from water supply applications to material aggregation. Before the introduction of CAD, we were creating drawings by hand, but due to the increase in the number of cases, we considered CAD to reduce the man-hours for drawing input. We decided to implement it because it specializes in water supply and drainage application work and can provide the necessary application forms for each municipality. After the introduction, we were able to create more than eight cases a day, and work efficiency improved dramatically. Additionally, unlike hand-drawn designs, CAD produces neat results, which has also increased the trust of the waterworks department. Before the implementation, it took a full day to write two construction application forms and road occupation permit applications, and when submitting completion drawings, it was very cumbersome to rewrite due to changes in the piping diagrams or to repeatedly draw the same floor plan for apartments. We were looking for software that could easily create drawings. After the implementation, we were able to prepare a complete set of application documents in half a day, allowing us to go out to the site in the afternoon. Before implementation, we requested our business partners and plumbing associations to input application drawings on our behalf, and we created simple handwritten drawings for submission. However, considering the efficiency in terms of effort, time, and cost, we contemplated creating application drawings in-house. After implementation, we have been able to create application drawings as needed, efficiently using the system with just two people without incurring additional costs or effort.
